SMART Tag Information | Cedar Ridge High School

Round Rock ISD Transportation utilizes the SMART tag system to record when students load and unload the bus, providing real-time information to the Transportation department, campuses and parents. The SMART tag Parent Portal allows parents to view their child’s assigned bus information, ridership activity and set up SMART alerts for when the bus is approximately 10 minutes from the scheduled bus stop. Additionally, all transportation notifications such as late bus alerts or route change notifications are sent through the SMART tag system.

All students receive one free Smart Tag during their years at Round Rock Independent School District. The same card can be used regardless of them moving from middle school to high school.

If the student loses their Smart Tag, the cost is $5.00 to replace it. They should go to the receptionist desk in the front office to request a replacement. The replacement fee must be paid prior to ordering the new card. Students can pay with cash or a check at the front desk. Once the payment via credit card has been made, the parent or student will still need to come to the front office to place the order for the new card. New cards will be picked up in the Assistant Principal’s offices:
